The U-B enclosure is a further development of the well-known U-A uw-housing and has been specially developed for use with the large professional SLR camera such as Nikon D300, D800, D3, D4 and Canon 5d Mark II, 5d Mark III, Eos 1DX, but can also be used with other SLR Cameras are used.
The safe useage of you camer on boats, surfing, swimming or snorkeling is easy, because the cameras used in the enclosure can be operated from the outside as normal, so that the user gets interesting pictures without special knowledge and practice.

Attention: If you want to use lenses with 77mm or 82mm filter threads, you would need to use the U-B 100 housing.

The housing can be used up to a depth of 20 meters. These depths were also tested and confirmed by independent, leading German diving magazines! These experienced UW photographers have found in their tests in these depths that the auto focus is still working exactly and the triggering with flash works without any problems. The high water pressure is compensated by the high air volume, which requires the weighting of the housing with some kilograms of diver lead in order to reduce the strong buoyancy on the surface.

The housing is made of special foil and has an integrated optical glass port.

It is ideal for snorkelling, scuba diving (up to 20m), on the beach, in the desert, in rainy weather or in areas with high humidity.

The closure of the housing consists of two clamping rails that are screwed together with three screws, thereby sealing the housing waterproof.

In the housing itself, lead weights can be placed to conunter the boyancy of the housing.
