Please note, that the housing comes with the older style, black handles and base plate.
The compact housing, made of thick-walled polycarbonate, can be used up to a depth of 60m / 200ft, with all functions supported. Due to the clear material, the O-rings on the housing and front port can be viewed at any time and the display is also easily recognizable.
The manual controlls are secured by special quad seals, which is the most secure method at the moment. Due to a large number of different dome and target ports, the use of most lenses by the camera manufacturer itself, as well as the lens manufacturers Sigma, Tamron and Tokina, is possible.
Under water the housing is neutral balanced and despite its size allows very good handling, since the housing has large control knobs and levers. The double handle with quick coupling allows easy installation of UW-Lightning arms and housings.
The TTL converter in the UW enclosure enables real ETTL or eTTL2 when using the Ikelite UW flash units. The converter’s power supply and transmission is provided by the TTL synchronization cable. Foreign flashes (e.g. Sea&Sea) can also be used via a synchronisation cable, but only a manual control is possible here.
For this underwater housing you also also need a front port, depending on which lens you want to insert in the housing. This is not included in the scope of delivery.
