ewa-marine A-FR flexible housing
The A-FR underwater housing was specially developed for the Sony PMW-f5 and Sony PMW-F55, the successor to the Sony PMW-EX3.
The housing is made of PVC soft film and the front port is made of optical glass. Thus, you have no limitations in image quality. The camera can be held and handled by means of a built-in wear tubus or the carrying straps, so that you have easy operation of the camera in the underwater housing. A large search tubus allows you to use the side viewfinder of the camera without any problems. The battery and the 4K raw recorder (CA-4000) have enough space in the housing.
The A-FR housing is particularly suitable for use on the beach, in rain, in the desert, but of course also for snorkeling or diving (up to 10m depth).
The closure of the housing consists of two clamping rails, which are screwed together with five screws, thereby sealing the housing waterproof.
There is the possibility to install a floor tripod plate that allows you to use the Sony camera with the A-FR underwater housing on a tripod. To confronting the housing, we have installed lead holders at the bottom of the housing. Here you can attach our BV2 leads.
Maximum recommended depth: 10 meters!
The A-FR underwater housing is limited to the following lens specifications:
-For lenses with a maximum length of 180mm.
-For lenses with a maximum diameter of 107mm.
-For lenses with a maximum filter diameter of 95mm.
